8/31/2006 New HUDlite client and server releasedThe HUDlite team has been working hard to fix bugs and add features requested by HUDlite users. We have implemented 49 fixes and improvements in the client and server.Feature: Feature Control You can now disable barge and recording across HUD to prevent abuse. To use this feature create the following file "/etc/asterisk/hud/features.xml" with the following contents: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <opt> <pe-record>true</pe-record> <oe-record>false</oe-record> <oe-barge>false</oe-barge> </opt> If you change the "false" to "true" then the feature will be re-enabled. Feature: Browser Screen-pop HUD can optionally launch a Web browser to a custom URL when your extension rings. This is great for looking up inbound callers in your favorite Web-based CRM Package. Or just Google callers for fun! Feature: Clean Uninstall Option to keep or remove all files associate with HUD during the uninstall process. Feature: Multiple Barge Now multiple people can barge the same conversation. Feature: Quick Blind Transfer Option under "File->Settings" to perform a blind transfer upon release of the mouse. Feature : Parked Extension Parked extension column (where the call is parked) now exists in Call Parking Feature: Click to Email Click the new email icon inside of HUD to easily send an email to any employee in your company. The email address will be pulled from your users.xml file. Feature: Click to Call Mobile Phone Click the new mobile phone icon inside of HUD to instantly call any other employee on their cellular phone. The phone number that is dialed will be pulled from your users.xml file. Feature: Live Sort of Extension Status Want to quickly know which employee is on the phone? Now, HUD can sort your extensions in "continuous" mode, so you can always have your active callers at the top of the list. This is great for managers who need to monitor employee activity level! Bug Fix: IAX trunks Corrected some issues related to IAX trunks causing those calls to not be properly recognized. Bug Fix: Tooltips Correct issue where tooltips would stick when the mouse was moved away from the application window. Bug Fix: Tooltips Fixed many tooltip behaviors and text. Bug Fix: HUD Connection Corrected issue where HUD required multiple login attempts before a successful login. Bug Fix: Balloon Notices System tray balloon no longer appears outside of monitor bounds. Bug Fix: Context Menu System tray context menu no longer appear behind the system tray. Bug Fix: Data Columns Added a minimum width to HUDpro scroll bars. Bug Fix: Task Bar "Move to primary monitor" checks monitor bounds. Bug Fix: Skin Appearance Corrected issues where artifacts from HUD would show through to other applications (tool tips and such). Bug Fix: Skin Appearance Artifacts caused by the moving of HUD and overlapping windows have been greatly reduced. Bug Fix: Buttons Corrected many issues with button appearance and behavior to give the application a more consistent feel. Bug Fix: Maximize HUD Clicking "Maximize" when HUD is in micro view will now exit micro view and maximize the application correctly. Bug Fix: Installer Options The "Connect on startup" setting is respected now. Bug Fix: System Tray Single click of the HUD system tray icon will now display HUD. Bug Fix: Column Headers Corrected issues where list column headers would separate and remain stuck to the mouse. Bug Fix: Barge Improved reliability of barging calls without incident. This addresses many issues where people would barge a call and not be muted, or causing others in the call to be dropped. Bug Fix: Call Status Private extensions would display "Private" even if they were not on a call Bug Fix: Skin Appearance Minimizing the width of the list view "Status" column no longer causes the call status icon to be cut off. Bug Fix: Call Parking Call parking no longer returns the call to the original parker after call has been transferred out of the parking area. Tweak: Window Docking Improved HUD window docking behavior so that automatically resized windows would keep their attached windows. Tweak: Drag And Drop HUD no longer prevents you from transferring a call to an extension that is already on a call. Tweak: Drag And Drop HUD no longer prevents you from calling and extension that is already on a call via double click. Tweak: Tooltips Wording changes throughout many tooltips. Tweak: "Hide" HUD The "X" button at the top right hides HUD instead of exiting the application. Tweak: Skin Appearance Replaced live redraw of HUD windows with Ghost redraw to enhance performance. Tweak: Skin Appearance Cleaned up many of the HUD icons Tweak: Skin Appearance Window data resizes to fit available space when scroll bars either exist or do not exist Tweak: Skin Appearance New scroll bars. Tweak: User Login When logging into HUD, any previously connected HUD clients with the same login will be disconnected. Tweak: Settings The escape button will now close the settings window. Tweak: Settings Settings page now has an "Apply" and "Close" button instead of "OK" and "Close" Tweak: Settings Connection settings now has a "Default" button. Tweak: Scrolling Mouse wheel scroll speed increased. Tweak: Barge Barge warning informs the person who is about to barge another party of the affects their barge will have on the call. Tweak: Installer New installer. Tweak: Voicemail Button Single click of the voicemail icon will call that extensions voicemail. Tweak: Voicemail Button We created a new icon for this button so it is easy to distinguish from the email icon. Tweak: Extension Highlighting Changed the highlighting of block extensions so that it extends outward instead of inward. Tweak: Fonts Decreased the size of the extension number and call timer in block view. Tweak: Popup Windows Hover area for viewing call details in block view was increased to cover most of the extension instead of just the connected call number/name..
